During the master class, Mr. Khudoyarov talked about the history of formation of the judicial system of the Republic of Uzbekistan and about the ongoing reforms aimed to achieve the true independence of judges in the field of administration of justice by them. The issues related to reforming of the legislative basis governing the judicial activity, the status of judges, independence and immunity of the judges, social guarantees, and the compliance of the judges with judicial ethics during their professional activities were also discussed.
Mr. Khudoyarov also gave a broad overview on the legislative framework, development, and adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Insolvency" as well as about the implementation of progressive legislative norms of developed foreign countries in this area, the role and significance of the Law in today's economy of the country and the distinctive features and innovations of this Law from the recently expired Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On bankruptcy."
